V- Frases que se referem a um perodo de tempo
Interrogative form que ainda no terminou no momento da fala:
TODAY - Ex: I havent seen John today. (Eu no vi
Have I gone? John hoje.)
Have You gone? THIS MORNING - Ex: Have you seen John this
Has He gone? morning? (Voc viu John esta manh?)
Has She gone? THIS AFTERNOON - Ex: Have you seen Mary this
afternoon? (Voc viu Mary esta tarde?)
Has It gone? THIS YEAR - Ex: We havent gone there this year.
Have We gone? (Ns no fomos l este ano.)
Have You gone? VI- Frases que indicam a ordem de ocorrncia de
Have They gone? uma ao no passado:
THE FIRST TIME - Ex: It was the first time Ive gone
there. (Foi a primeira vez que eu fui l.)
QUANDO USAR O PRESENT PERFECT? THE SECOND TIME - Ex: It was the second time Ive

(Eu sempre morei no Brasil.)
EVER (j) usado em frases interrogativas. (Ex:
Have you ever gone to U.S.A? (Voc j foi a U.S.A?)
NOTE: EVER aqui tem o sentido de alguma vez
NEVER (nunca) - usado em frases negativas. Ex:
Ive never gone to New York. (Eu nunca fui a New
York.)
IV- Frases contendo palavras que indicam perodo
de tempo passado:
RECENTLY - Ex: I havent seen Peter recently. (Eu
no tenho visto Peter recentemente.)
FOR A LONG TIME - Ex: I havent seen him for a
long time. (Eu no o vejo h muito tempo.)
EXERCISES
I- Use the words in brackets to build sentences in the appropriate verb tense.
