INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE

The Preschool Teacher Training College Mihailo Palov in Vrsac in cooperation with the Aurel Vlaicu
University of Arad (Romania) and St. Clement of Ohrid University of Bitola (Macedonia), call for
participation and scientific contributions at the international student conference:

CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES IN EDUCATION DIDACTIC ASPECTS

 CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES IN EDUCATION DIDACTIC ASPECTS

Educational philosophy and the postmodern orientation, which are contained in the
contemporary educational theory and emancipatory didactics, involve strategies which go beyond
understanding and remembering content. These diverse strategies stress self-organized learning,
appropriateness, problem solving, posing new questions, creative approaches to content analysis,
discussion of open questions and other things which fit into the idea of quality learning and the
building of knowledge, or in other words which fits into the emancipatory function of learning.

The goal of the conference is to enrich and innovate didactic strategies of students, whose
future calling will be connected to the area of education. This includes students future preschool
teachers, lower grade elementary school teachers and subject elementary\high school teachers.
Through mentorship with their professors, the students will have the opportunity to create papers in
which they will present original didactic and methodological solutions which can be used in practical
work with children and the youth. Furthermore, the conference significance is reflected in the
exchange of experiences and the students practical examples, which gives impulse to further
enrichment of the didactic practice.

Topics

Didactic strategies and methods for encouraging creativity theoretical and practical aspects
Enriching the didactic practice with methodological solutions in the work with preschool
children
Enriching the didactic practice with methodological solutions in lower grades of elementary
school
Enriching the didactic practice with methodological solutions in subject teaching
Didactic strategies in the digital era the possibilities of learning and teaching via multimedia
tools

Participants should apply for the conference by 20. October 2017.

Participants of the international conference may submit only one paper (author, co-author).
The topic registration needs to be done along with a paper summary (up to 1000 characters) and key
words, in the mother tongue and the English language. The summary should be written in the B5
format, font Times New Roman, font size 10 pt, line spacing Single, standard Windows margins.

The selection of the received summaries will be performed by local and foreign reviewers, the results
of which will be sent by 1. November 2017.

Important!!! The participants may choose to present their papers during the conference or they
may participate in the discussion which will be held in the form of a panel discussion.

The accepted papers will be published in common conference proceedings, in the English
language and the participants mother tongue.

Travel and potential accommodation costs are funded by the participants themselves.

There is no fee for participation in the conference and the publication of the papers.

Paper submission guidelines

While writing the paper follow the rules listed below:

Write in the format B5, font Times New Roman, font size 10pt, line spacing Single, standard
Windows margins;
Paper length review paper up to 10 pages, paper for practitioners in a certain area up to 5
pages;
Use the APA citation index; papers which do not follow the guidelines will be returned for
correction, those which are not corrected by the deadline will not be published;
Papers should be submitted in the mother tongue and in English.

Important dates:

The applications must be sent by: 20. October 2017.

Paper acceptance information will be delivered by: 1. November 2017.
The conference will be held on: 14 November 2017.
The completed full paper must be sent by: 25. November 2017.
