Tutti i sistemi di dosaggio saranno protetti per il
trasporto da casse di legno le cui caratteristiche
tipiche sono mostrate nella figura seguente.
Ogni cassa fornita di una busta metallica con-
tenente una copia dellelenco dei materiali con-
tenuti nellimballo.
Una copia dellelenco dei materiali deve essere
collocata anche allinterno della cassa.
Limballo di legno sar trattato in accordo con la
normativa ISPM 15 standard (trattamento ter-
mico HT o trattamento di fumigazione con il
bromuro metilico).
A richiesta i materiali possono essere protetti
anche per un lungo periodo di stoccaggio con
un sacco barriera sigillato in accordo a MIL B
131 1 classe e contenenti appositi sali essic-
canti.
All dosing system shall be protected for trans-
portation in wooden cases whose typical fea-
tures is shown in enclosed picture.
Each case is provided with external packing list
metallica envelope.
One copy of packing list shall be placed inside
the case.
The wood packing will be treated according
ISPM 15 standard (heat treatment HT or treat-
ment of fumigation with methyl bromide MB).
If required system can be protected for long
storage with barrier bag according to MIL B 131
1 class provided with desiccants

4 .TRASPORTO, PREPARAZIONE PER
TRASPORTO E CONSERVAZIONE DEL
LUOGO
Il venditore deve provvedere allimballaggio, la
conservazione e le adeguate protezioni per
prevenire rotture, deterioramento, pulizia
dellapparecchiatura durante il trasporto via na-
ve o via camion fino al cantiere del cliente in-
cludendo lo stoccaggio prima dellinstallazione.
Tutti gli item forniti devono essere completa-
mente puliti, drenati ed,eventuali spruzzi di sal-
datura e ruggine, devono essere rimossi prima
dellimballaggio.
Superfici lavorate di macchina,filettature devo-
no essere coperte con grassi preventivi per la
ruggine o altri approvati prodotti simili.
Le parti interne / esterne, che potrebbe essere
danneggiate o sottoposte a spostamenti duran-
te il trasporto, devono essere protette con ap-
positi supporti, rinforzi, ecc, e , se necessario,
spediti sciolti.
Tutte le aperture e flangiature devono essere
protette e reso impermeabile, fornendo adegua-
te coperture in metallo con guarnizioni in
gomma.
Il venditore deve fornire l'elenco delle precau-
zioni speciali per la movimentazione delle at-
trezzature.
La pompa deve essere adeguatamente protetta
da eventuali danni durante il trasporto via mare
o su strada. Dei Rinforzi temporanei (o selle)
devono essere previsti da parte del fornitore
stesso.
Il venditore dovr ottenere la Release Note
dallispettore del cliente prima di essere auto-
rizzati per la spedizione.
Il venditore dovr fornitro un imballo adeguto
per garantie lo stoccaggio di mimino 12 mesi e
deve fornire tutti i metodi necessari per il man-
tenimento della stoccaggio nellarco di questi
mesi.
Il sacco barriera, se presente, dovr essere
protetto in modo tale da garantirne lintegrit fi-
no al momento dellapertura dellimballo per
linstallazione.
Una volta che l'imballo stato aperto, occorre
prendere le seguenti precauzioni:
Tutta la fornitura, inclusi i pannelli elettrici,
dovr essere immediatamente esaminata al
fine di individuare per tempo eventuali danni
o tracce di possibili ossidazioni e corrosione.

4. PACKING, PREPARATION FOR SHIPPING
AND SITE PRESERVATION
The vendor shall provide packing, preserva-
tion and adequate protection of the equip-
ment to prevent damage, deterioration and to
ensure cleanliness during transportation by
sea transportation or road transportation to
purchaser place, including storange and in-
stallation of the equipment.
All supplied items shall be thoroughly
cleaned, dried out and made free of any
loose mill scale, weld splatter, rust etc. prior
to shipment.
Machined surfaces and all threads shall be
coated with heavy, rust preventive grease or
other approved corrosion preventative.
All component shall be pre-assembled to
maximum extent possible.
Any internal/external parts which might be
subjected to damage or displacement during
shipment shall be protected with appropriate
supports, bracing, framing etc or shipped
loose if appropriate.
All opening and flange faces shall be protect-
ed and made water proof by providing suita-
ble metal covers with rubber gaskets.
The vendor shall provide list of any special
precautions for handling the equipment.
Provide wooden or steel saddles with primer
coat c/w hoops and items required for trans-
portation and handling.
The Reciprocating Pump shall be properly
protected from damage for sea-freight and
road transportation. Temporary bracing ( or
saddle ) shall be provided for such means by
Vendor.
Vendor shall obtain Release Note from
Purchasers Inspector before any equipment
is allowed to be released for shipment.
Provision for a minimum 12 months ourdoor
storage in humid saliferous condition shall be
provided. Vendor shall provide full details of
preservation method and any scheduled re-
quirements during the 12 months.
Barrier bag, if any, shall be protected and
their integrity maintenanced until the equip-
ment has to be unpacked for installation.
Once the packing has been opened for
equipment installation, following precautions
shall be taken:

I materiali non devono sostare appoggiati di-
rettamente sul suolo, ma dovranno essere
isolati da terra per mezzo di un pallet o di
una struttura sopraelevata.
Materiali quali: tubazioni, raccordi, etc. do-
vranno sostare, in attesa dellinstallazione,
evitando ristagni di acqua o contatto con
sporcizia e detriti.
Coperture, tappi e rivestimenti di protezione
devono essere riparati e/o sostituiti se non
integri.
Se allinterno dei materiali risultano presenti
acqua e/o immondizia, i materiali dovranno
essere puliti prima di procedere alla sostitu-
zione/riparazione delle coperture, tappi e ri-
vestimenti di protezione.
Nessun componente in acciaio Inox deve en-
trare in contatto con il suolo o con parti per-
meabili quali ad es. legno grezzo.
Tutti i mezzi previsti per la conservazione a
caldo dei materiali (scaldiglie anticondensa,
riscaldatori parti elettriche o strumentazione,
etc.) dovranno essere collegati ad appropria-
ti pannelli e correttamente alimentati.
Durante e dopo linstallazione, limpianto do-
vr essere periodicamente controllato al fine
di rilevare eventuali danni del rivestimento
protettivo. Eventuali graffi o danni del rive-
stimento che possano innescare un proces-
so di corrosione dovranno essere adegua-
tamente riparati.
Dopo la rimozione del sacco barriera, non
contaminare le parti in acciaio inossidabile
quali tubazioni, serbatoi e strumentazione
con acciao al carbonio, ad es.:
A- Non mettere barre, scale, bulloni in acciaio
al carbonio direttamente a contatto con
lacciaio inossidabile ma proteggerlo con ma-
teriali isolanti o coprenti.
B- Non consentire che lacciaio inossidabile si
impolveri con particelle di acciaio al carbo-
nio.
Se la contaminazione avviene, pulire con ade-
guati agenti chimici o, almeno, con aria com-
pressa, strofinamento o molatura.
Tutti gli utensili utilizzati non devono essere en-
trati mai a contatto con acciaio al carbonio.

All equipment, including electrical panels,
shall be immediately examined in order to
detect possible damages or traces of initial
corrosion and oxidant.
Materiale shall not be stored on the
ground, but be palletised or put on racks
or timber.
Items such as pipe, fittings or similar shall
be stored in such a manner as to keep out
standing water, dirt or debris.
Protective covers, plugs and coating shall
be renewed if not intact.
If water and dirt has enered the equipment
through damaged or improperly secured
covers or plugs, the equipment shall be
cleaned before covers, plugs and coating
are restored.
Stainless steel equipment, components
and materials shall not be in contact with
the soil or with porous support, like raw
wood.
All heaters provided in equipment for the
preservation of the equipment (motor anti-
condensation heater, electrical and in-
strument panel heater , etc.) shall be con-
nected to an appropriate power supply and
properly energised.
During and after erection and installation
operations, the equipment shall be period-
ically inspected in order to check that pro-
tections and preservation coating are not
damaged.Possible scratches or damages
on paint and coatings which could initiate
corrosion shall be immediately and proper-
ly retouched.
After barrier bag removal, do not pollute
stainless steel components like piping,
tanks and instruments, with carbon steel,
i.e. :
A- Do not put carbon steel bars, stairs,
bolts, etc. directly on stainless steel,
but protect it with insulating materiale
or coating.
B-Do not dust with carbon steel particles
or shavings
Whenever a pollution occurs, pickle with
properly chemical agent, or, at least, clean
with air blow, mechanical removal or grind-
ing.All tools used for stainless steel have to
be used before for carbon steel.

5. CONSERVAZIONE DELL IMPIANTO ( PRIMA 5. PRESERVATION OF THE EQUIPMENT

a) Non disimballare prima di iniziare il montaggio,
mantenere il materiale nell imballo originale e
tenere lontano dalla sabbia, polvere, pioggia,
umidit e sole.
b) Verificare l integrit dell imballo ogni tre mesi;
c) Se l imballo deve restare in stand-by per un
periodo superiore a tre mesi, lavarlo.
d) Scollegare e proteggere da sabbia e polvere le
apparecchiature elettriche (motore).
e) Controllare la vernice e, se necessario, toglie-
re la ruggine e ripristinare il rivestimento
f) Ogni due mesi controllare il livello di glicerina
del manometro (se esistente) e l'integrit di
parti in gomma o plastica dei componenti.
g) Per ogni componente seguire le raccomanda-
zioni di manutenzione manuale pertinenti.

b) Check the integrity of the packege every
three months;
c) If system has to remain in stand-by mode for
a period over three months, wash it.
d) Disconnect and protect from sand and dust
the electric equipment (motor).
e) Check the paint and, if necessary, remove
rust and restore coating.
f) Every two months check the glycerine level in
pressure gauge (if existing) and the integrity
of rubber or plastic made components or
parts.
g) For each components follow the maintenance
recommendation of relevant manual.
