from the SAE or earned and invested $2,000 and worked 2,250 hours, and have a record of outstanding
leadership abilities and community involvement.
Texas FFA Lone Star Degree (July 2013)
- The Lone Star FFA Degree is the highest degree of membership the State FFA Association can award.
Requirements included receiving chapter FFA degree, completed at least 360 hours of systematic school
instruction in agricultural education, including an SAE, have earned and productively invested at least
$1,000 and worked at least 300 hours in excess of scheduled class time, in an SAE.
