DBOL 8d1 - DocBase Crossbrowser

DocBase Online Compatible with Internet Explorer, Chrome (full support) and
other browsers.

1. Application Pool for DocBase Online must be set to 4.0 or higher .NET
Framework
2. Url Rewrite Application must be installed on the server where DocBase Online
is going to be installed. Its setup and installation Guide are included in the
setup (DocBase Online > Url Rewrite)
3. Support for DocBase Light PDF is discontinued as this one is included in
DocBase DBPDFWS PDF Module. The following should be considered:
- Light PDF have been removed from DocBase WCF Web Config File;
- Session("LightPDFWebService") = "" - variable must be commented (by
placing the ' on the line) or removed from global.asa file;
- If DBPDFWS is to be installed Session("UseNewPDFConvertor") variable must
be set to 1 in global.asa;
- In XConnector FileInterceptor.exe.config, POP3Interceptor.exe.config do not
further Contain Light PDF variable (at uninstall these files are removed)
4. New DocBase Caching Service.
5. Added to the setup folder (Helpdesk Linking) DocBase File Service 1.0.0 and
DocNet Cache Server 1.0.2 and also .NET 1.1 for their support.
6. Trefwoorden functionality has been removed. Also in global.asa set
Session("ShowCatchwords") = 0
7. New variable in global.asa file Session("WebApplication") which is used in
Settings.xml from DocBase Ribbon.

Added Full Support for:
- DocBase FTR Module - windows service for deleted objects
- DocBase ZTC Module and ZTC-Beheer Application;
- Notifications - which are created and managed from DocBase Online.
Powertools v1.4.3 can be installed if more support for previous used DocBase
Functionalities is needed in IE. When is needed tooltips within the application are
displayed.
Changes:

Office Ribbon AddIn

- Resolved Versioning for Excel Documents from other Browsers (not from IE);
- Filename displayed, in the versioning process, will be the value set to be the
download file name for DocBase. When this value is unavailable omschrijving, then
document nr/master nr is taken.
- Support for DocBase Multiple Web Applications; (installed on the same workstation
or different servers)
- Manual + Configuration files before delivering the Software to clients, or put on
the server for delivery.
- Compatible with Office 2010 and higher versions. Fully compatible with
Crossbrowser if Office 2010 has Service Pack 2;
- Changes in Configuration Files and in Office support;
- Fully Integrates with DocBase WCF Services 2.3.0 and upper versions.

DocBase XConnector
- Integrated Solve Issues:
On Oracle when a process is started the dates of the tasks are wrong if system
date format is different than yyyy-mm-dd. When inserting documents the old
LightPdfConvertor was still used
HD Point 9867 - File not removed from temporary location as to be moved to
Permanent Location and can be installed as upgrades to clients who already have
previous versions installed.

DocBase Scripts
- standard scripts +
- separate file for ZTC Scripts which are to be install only under Acanthis
supervision if ZTC-Beheer module is going to be installed.

DocBase Online
- .asp extension removed from main URL visible in address bar
- Added a new Picture, Photo viewer which is Crossbrowser compatible and visible in
other browsers; (supporting base imaging functionalities like zoom, scale, rotate)
- Can be accessed, used from almost any browser (Full support assured for IE and
Chrome).

DocBase WCF Services

New Changes which are included and Explained in WCF Installation Guide:
- Existence of a new App_Data folder to which access to everyone must be given ;
- New Web.config file and installation steps;
- In web.config file added new key DMZLocation which points to the Location

DBBeheer
- Removed Trefwoorden from all Dialogs where this one appeared;
- Support for more Document, Dossier, Relations with more than 100 kenmerks;
- Made possible to add a date smaller than the current date in add/edit user,
"datum uit dienst" field;
!!!Removed add-in for Office 2007 as support for it is no longer offered in
DocBase Online newer versions!!!
