PROCLAMATION NO. 1076

ESTABLISHING AS THE TAGUIBO RIVER WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR THE PURPOSES OF PROTECTION, MAINTENANCE AND
IMPROVEMENT OF ITS WATER YIELD AND PROVIDING RESTRAINING MECHANISM FOR INAPPROPRIATE FOREST EXPLOITATION AND LAND-USE
PRACTICES, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN AND MUNICIPALITIES OF REMEDIOS
TRINIDAD ROMUALDEZ AND CABADBARAN, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL NORTE, ISLAND OF MINDANAO

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President
of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and set aside as the Taguibo River Watershed Forest Reserve, subject to private
rights, if any there be, and to the operations of previous proclamations reserving any portion thereof, and to the implementation of forestry development programs
consistent with the objectives of the proclamation as may be determined by the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, a certain parcel of land of the
public domain located in the City of Butuan, and Municipalities of Remedios Trinidad Romualdez and Cabadbaran, Province of Agusan del Norte, Philippines as
shown in the Forest Management Bureau Map No. WR 120A, more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at point 1 on the map, a point designated as corner 1 located at the top of the ridge with latitude 09 0127.04 and longitude 125 3854.56 being
Due North, 1,000 meters from the junction of Iyao Creek and Taguibo River;

Thence S 8530 W, 500 meters to corner 62, a point on the bank of the river, junction of Iyao Creek and Taguibo River;

Thence Due North, 1,000 meters to corner 1, the point of beginning, containing an area of Four Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Seven and 44/100 (4,367.44)
Hectares, More or Less.

The administrative jurisdiction, supervision and control of the reservation shall be under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, in coordination
with Butuan City Water District and other government agencies with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic use, irrigation
and other forestry purposes.
