Young IT Professional (YITP) Awards 2017


HARDWARE The Young IT Professional Awards are instituted to encourage Researchers, IT
Hardware development, IoT, professionals/ Practitioners, Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Academicians, or Ph
Cloud implementation D/PG Research Scholars below 35 years of age in service/support/research/
education/training function in the field of Information Technology.
These awards are instituted both at the national as well as at the regional
levels. The winners of the each region will qualify for competing in the final
national round.

OBJECTIVES
To recognize the significant contribution(s) made by a person as mentioned
SOFTWARE above.
Information Security, Scrum & To motivate upcoming professionals and enhance the prestige of the
Agile, AI, BFSI, Manufacturing, profession by enabling them to exercise their skills and competencies in the
Retail, NOSQL, Banking &
best possible and innovative manner
Finance, Marketing
To directly or indirectly contribute towards the improvement of professional
effectiveness in different spheres of life
To motivate young men and women to imbibe the entrepreneurial spirit and
thereby encourage more and more people to venture into entrepreneurship
To encourage contribution in boosting the economy of the country and
promote research

Criteria
The most outstanding technology project related to any theme mentioned here
APPLICATIONS (but not limited to), completed during the year 2016 / 2017 (project duration

Eligibility
Any individual below 35 years of age (as on 31st March, 2017) who are either
working professionals/practitioners, entrepreneurs, researchers,
academicians or Ph D/PG Research Scholars and has made significant

innovation in the areas of IT applications and services, research and academics

to bring improvement in service, support, research and education/training in the

field of Information Technology.
Participants can be from CSI corporate members, Business
organizations, Research Institutes and Interns from incubation centers of
universities. Only those individual with minimum of 3 years and maximum
12 years of experience or Ph. D/PG Research scholars below 35 years of age
can participate in this competition.
A team of maximum 3 members meeting all the eligibility criteria may be
nominated. The project nominated should be original and not published earlier.
EDUCATION AND
RESEARCH Nominations should be supported by the organization/Institutions to which
E-learning, Animation Industry the applicants are attached. Applications nominated by any CSI Fellow are
also eligible.
Awards Comprise of:
Trophy and Certificate to first two winning teams/individuals and prizes as under:

Special mention 10,000/- 2,000/-

The winners of the regional contest will qualify for competing in the final national round.

changes to be made in the submitted project between the regional and national

The decision of the selection committee of Regional and National rounds will be final and
