ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS).

The organizations use this standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services
that meet customer and regulatory requirements. The current version of ISO 9001 was released in
September 2015.
This 3-day course provides students with a solid foundation on the ISO 9001 standard and ability to interpret

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It
is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to
organisations in 178 countries.

ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to

and implement requirements, and the skills and techniques to measure the effectiveness of a
quality management system through an internal audit.

An understanding of the general principles of information security would be useful.
