various torsional dampers, single and twin plate, push and pull, manual adjust and self-adjusting, with ceramic and organic
facings. Eaton offers a wide variety of clutches to meet each customers individual needs, in both new and remanufactured
models. The product line covers greater than 98 percent of the Continental European commercial vehicle market.

Benefits and Features
Eaton has developed a new
clutch driven disc technolo-
gy, which isolates engine
torsionals at idle speed, to
reduce or eliminate neutral
idle gear rattle in the drive-
train and improve driver
comfort. Vibration Control
Technology Plus Pre-
Damper (VCT Plus PD) is
the latest addition to the
Eaton Fuller lineup of
heavy-duty soft-rate damp-
ers. The Pre-damper feature
consists of a set of small
springs around the hub,
which dampen the engine
torsional vibrations at idle
speeds before they can
reach the transmission and
cause gear rattle. Likewise,
the larger springs dampen
torsional vibrations at higher
engine torques. Eaton
offers a fully self-adjusting
clutch with the Fuller Solo
clutch. The Solo clutch
maintains proper adjust-
ment to maximize clutch
service life without the
need to incur additional
labor costs.
The Fuller maintenance-free
clutch is adjustment-free
and lubed for life to elimi-
nate periodic adjustments
and lubrication and extend
clutch service life. Designed
specifically for hydraulic
linkages and synchronized
transmissions, the dia-
phragm-style clutch utilizes
a unique interface between
the clutch bearing and the
release fork to eliminated
noise and to improve ease
of installation. The Fuller
365mm clutch is also availa-
ble in single- and two-plate
versions
