Winson : Good morning, to Madam Chang and to all audience. Today our group from
group 6 (A) would like to present about the merit and demerit of nuclear power
invasion.

Alwie : What are the challenges in creating and exposing nuclear power to publics? why
it should be create? Should it be exist or not? Should it be exposed to all human
and animals or not and? What are the side effects?
Dear audiences. Today, were going to find out what is the challenges.

Before we start, I would like to tell to all debaters that each of you will be
provide 2 minute to explain your reason.

Afiq Tan : Well good morning ladies and gentlemen. First of all, I would like to say thank
you to Mr. Alwie as adjudicate, my oppositions and to all my fellow friends.
Before I start I would like to introduce my topic which is the merits of nuclear. I
stand over here as government to support the nuclear is good and should be
continually used in our daily life.
My first point is nuclear play an important role in medical nowadays. The facts
are, there are 31 countries using nuclear especially in developed country such as
United States, China, Japan and so on.
The benefits can be seen through nuclear medicine and radiology is the medical
techniques that involve the use of radiation or radioactivity to diagnose treat and
parent disease. These procedures are safe, effective and do not required
anesthetics. As the result, Nuclear is very important and facilitate people.

Charlona : Thank you Mr Afiq, in my opinion if we keep using medical nuclear it will
definitely effects to our body especially children who are more sensitive to the
radiation as it could badly affect their genitals.
Other than that, exposure to radiation as a fetus ups the chances of cancer by
40%, of developing tumors by 50% and of leukemia by 70%. Thyroid glands,
which are the primary glands of metabolism and energy, are also known victims
of x-rays.
Lastly, the point that I already mention just now really shows that nuclear is not
appropriate as a medical treatment because it will cause too many disadvantages.
Mutation can also occur in medical. Wheres the radiation especially gamma ray
will destroy millions of our body cells and changes in a single base pair in the
DNA molecule

Yusrin : First of all, I would say nuclear is not harmful to every aspect it can be seen
through nuclear can provide low cost electrical power system which is good for
the environment. Such as, nuclear is a key tool reducing greenhouse gases. The
facts is nuclear power plants generate electricity for 1 in 5 homes and businesses
in United States without producing or emitting any greenhouse gasses including
carbon dioxide. Other than that, it is also benefits to all citizens who want to live
comfortable because nuclear generated electricity produces benefits beyond
keeping homes warm, lights on and exactly help our cell phones charged.

Siau : I agree on your point that nuclear power will provide low cost energy power. In
my opinion, I do not think nuclear is good for the environment because
nowadays there is too many conflicts happened among the country and they will
abusing the nuclear for military purpose.
This is what I want to prove to everybody because it will expose people to a
disease that could affect long lasting. This is the main reason why nuclear
should not be establish to every country. As we see the effect that had been
showed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan who had been bombarded by the USA
during WWII. The affect of the radiation took long time to wear off.

Raven : In my medical view, nuclear radiation does not emit smoke ( no pollution)
- green gasses ( no emission of gasses)
- Help diagnosed and treat disease
- Radionuclide therapy can be use to treat hyperthyroid, thyroid cancer and
blood disorder.
- (short distance radiation) minimizing mutant side effects and damages to
non-involved organs nearby
- Imagining full body scanning, thus making job easier and faster
And this also can be use to destroying damages tissue such as cancer.

`Richel : In my point of view, nuclear radiation or nuclear energy can makes a nuclear
accidents even though there are so many methods such as medical term, modern
technologies, and any solutions to make sure nuclear disaster wont happen like
the Chernobyl or Fukushima and Hiroshima which this are relatively high risk.
In nuclear radiation its something a chain reaction and is very harmful to all
nature.
Most likely its name a as dirty bomb.
In this problem it will give a major impact on all human.
Such as the safety of all living humans are not guarantee. Its easier to make a
safe promise now, but in the future? .

Alwie : Thank you to all debaters who had explained their own reason. As we can heard,
both of these side are seems to be have their own right.

Nasledzul : 1) Think wisely before making a permanent decision on serious matters

2) Concern about all humanity surroundings
3) Think about the effect before doing something
Zulkarnain : In conclusion, nuclear energy has giving us a better and worst side effect.
Nuclear energy is a clean, safe, reliable and competitive energy source. It is the
only source of energy that can replace a significant part of the fossil fuels such as
coal, oil and gas which massively pollute the atmosphere and contribute to the
greenhouse effect.
