CHARACTERISTICS

3.2 CHARACTERISTICS

Determination of the type of aircraft to be used is one of the most important things for the success of this project.

Reasons for the selection and types of aircraft types is based on the following factors:

1. Operating area reach remote areas that still it is necessary that aircraft can reach the area, the Twin

Otter aircraft DHC6-300 highly suited to reach these remote areas. This aircraft has the ability to landing in a very short (STOL).
2. Effective and efficient for short-haul flights (Short Range).
3. Aircraft versatile, it can be used to carry passengers or goods in remote areas.
4. Has the transport capacity adapted to the type of aircraft and the target market.
5. The operating system is simple, making it easier than the operation and maintenance.
6. Operating costs are relatively low.
