1.1.2. GROUND MOVEMENT
Pilots will proceed to verify at every moment the aircraft position, checking that
taxiing is being executed under total safety conditions. In case of being disoriented
or in doubt, pilots will stop the aircraft and immediately will notify ATC.
Usually, while the LVPs are being applied, the movement of only one ACFT at the
same time in the movement area will be cleared by ATC.
ARRIVALS
Aircraft, that have already landed, will notify:
- Runway vacated and
- taxiway used.
At the apron entry, ACFT must wait for the arrival of a "Follow-me" car in order to
be guided to the assigned stand.
DEPARTURES
Entry to RWY shall be accomplished by TWYs A1 and A2.
In order to establish the better transit sequence, pilots will avoid requesting
clearance for starting-up, push-back or taxiing, when the RVR values or the
meteorological visibility, are below their operational minimum.
1.1.3. COMMUNICATION FAILURE
Whenever an ACFT operating in the manoeuvring area experiences a communication
failure, it will comply as follow:
- Departing ACFT: It will continue by the assigned route to its clearance limit,
taking extreme caution to avoid deviations. Once that point has been reached, it
will hold the position and wait for the arrival of a Follow-me car in order to be
guided to the stand position.

Contact APP at least 5 MIN prior to reaching the relevant REP and request clearance to enter the CTR.
Holdings shall be accomplished over REPs N (Montblanc), S (L'Hospitalet de L'Infant) and W (Falset) at 3000'
or over REP E (Roda de Bar) at 2000'.
If applicable, flights will be cleared from the holding points direct to the AD traffic circuit and will
be provided with landing instructions.
The Final Approach Area shall never be crossed without prior permission by TWR.
