PROJECT NAME : Design and Construction of Earth Fault Relay for

Single Phase System.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

Design and Construction of Earth Fault Relay for Single Phase System was designed such
that the current transformer detects the earth leakage current of active conductors in an installation,
sends a proportional signal to the relay and this operates relay. A single phase earth fault protection
is relatively easy to establish on most power system compared to other protection schemes.
Fluxibility of fault analysis depends upon the complexity of power system. We can conclude that
occurrence of earth fault at any point in single phase system can be easily detected using earth fault
protection scheme. By installing the earth fault protection scheme, a consumer can be aware whether
he is exactly changed, or not , for his energy consumption.
