RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
The present study aimed to determine the flavonoid heterosides (hesperidin, rutin,
quercetin and anthocyanin) in different plant species, such as orange, rue, onion and
purple corn. It was worked with samples of the drugs of the mentioned plant species,
granted by the chair of Pharmacognosy of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of
the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) carrying out a specific qualitative
analysis for the orange (reaction with H2SO4, HCl cc, HNO3 and 30% NaOH),
determining the presence of hesperidin; For rue (reaction of Wilson, Shinoda and FeCl3)
the routine was recognized; For the onion (reaction of Pb (CH3COO)2 and FeCl3)
recognizing the presence of quercetin and that of purple corn (reaction with H2SO4cc and
NaOH 30%) determining the presence of anthocyanins. In the chromatographic analysis,
Rf were obtained for onion (quercetin): 0.48 (M.P) and 0.96 (St.)
