Scholarship Contract
The RCHK Scholarships committee recognizes your talent and the contributions
you are making to both the school and Hong Kong community. As a scholar,
you are in a position of responsibility and are expected to live up to the high
standards and tradition of excellence for which the programme is well known.
This document outlines the duties and roles expected from a scholar for the
forthcoming year, and will be referred to in the end-of-year scholarship review.

one ECA (Extra-Curricular Activity) Block at RCHK

addition to the Service & Action or CAS activities you are required to
do as the curriculum prerequisite.

If you are a scholar in Year 10-13, this will be in addition to the S&A or
CAS commitments required for your year level.

and the annual School Fair. In general, school related events/activities
would take precedence over outside events/activities unless the school
supervising teacher grants permission.

5. Take on leadership/mentor roles within academic, extra-curricular and

community activities.

6. Demonstrate evidence of a good role model and a student ambassador

for the College who has shown good citizenship, and is well presented
and well mannered at all times.
Finally, write a brief paragraph(s) about how you hope to develop yourself
during the forthcoming year, both as a scholar and as a student leader.
Please list any activities you would like to participate in and if necessary,
feel free to add suggestions for the school as to what you would like to see
happen this year.
In the forthcoming year, I am aiming to become a more active student in terms
of both as a scholar and as a leader. As a scholar I aim to be more active
especially within the scholarship community or scholar involved / run groups
such as joining the scholarship social club or something similar. By doing so, I
hope to be able to interact more with other scholars, learn from their
experiences and be able to develop myself further as a scholar and as a
person. I also aim to participate in a variety of activities whether within or
outside school to get more exposure and experience both as a scholar and as a
person. As for developing myself as a student leader, I aim to develop my social
skills which is an important aspect of leadership by interacting with other
student leaders. As a house captain, I am to be more active and take more
initiative when it comes to planning / organizing activities, setting a good
example or putting forward new ideas. Another aspect I want to develop as a
leader is my public speaking skills and to do so, I plan to join a debate team
and aim to develop my skills as a leader and a public speaker through it.
