Mr. Faisal Abdalla Mohamed Ahmed was promoted to the position of Logistics
Manager since i" June 2013. Prior to that he has been the Acting Logistic and
Procurement Manager during the period of 8th January 2012 to 31st May 2013. In his
current position, Mr. Faisal shoulders the following responsibilities:

Overall management of the logistics section including, supervision guidance,

capacity building, performance monitoring, job training and appraisal;
Act as custodian of unit policies and procedures, enforce, adherence and
compliance with policies and procedures as well as donor requirements;
Responsible for operation and strategic planning in relation to logistics and
procurement functions, such as procurement planning, importation list, bids, etc.;
Responsible of coordination with security advisor on security and safety measure
to the vehicles fleet and associated with the road travel;
Overall responsibility for the central inventory list
Fleet management and asset disposal.

I interacted with Mr. Faisal as his direct supervisor. Mr. Faisal has proved to be
dedicated, trustworthy and hard worker. He persistently manages and supervises all his
unit staff and carries out all his duties at a high level of responsibility. He also always
manifests a strong commitment in meeting deadlines, planning, organizing and being
effective.

His interaction with subordinates, peers and supervisors indicates a balanced personality
resulting in a high respect for him at all levels. Above that, Mr. Faisal has the potential
and continually strives to develop his skills.

I very strongly recommend Mr. Faisal to any position in the field of logistics where he
can maximize the utilization of his potential.
