 1. Weight Allowance
Minimum Baggage allowance 30 kgs (check in) Maximum is 38 kgs - this
depends on the airlines, please confirm with BMU office about which airlines
has been booked.

One hand bag with maximum of 8 kg weight. Do not take extra weight to
avoid problems during the check-in. Hand baggage dimension 56cm x
45cm x 25cm inc. handles/wheels.

You can take additional laptop bag in hand if you are taking the laptop.
 Quick Tips #1
You can carry any heavy jacket with you wearing it while boarding the plane
as they do not weigh passenger.

A sling bag for both boys and girls is quite ideal to keep important things
accessible like passport, boarding pass, tickets, and currency as well.

DO NOT KEEP loose battery (any type), shaving kit, any liquid (shampoo,
face wash etc.) & cream, food, scissor, knife or any sharp items in hand bag
as it is prohibited.

Note: The electricity plugs used there are 2 pin plugs not three pin so if devices

Keep your check in bags and handbag weight within informed kgs.

Any excess baggage will be chargeable by the airlines.

Please note that the weight of baggage at home and at airport will always vary due to
unknown reasons. So always keep 1 kg less in all bags OR please carry enough local currency so
that excess baggage can be paid for.

Always carry your important documents in your handbag only. Wear a waist pouch bag or
sling bag to carry money and passport there.

Keep valuable things like money (also keep some INR), passport, air ticket, insurance policy,
travel currency card, admission & invitation letters, all academic documents, photos, mobile,
laptop, and camera etc. in hand bag.

cream, food, scissor, knife or any sharp items in hand bag.

Reach at the city from where you will take the flight at least before 15 hours.

Reach at departure Airport at least before 5-6 hours to avoid delay due to traffic.

Confirmed about your airlines, timings & terminal (airline no. is given in air ticket) at
airport.
 Do not ever accept any parcel from any stranger at the airport.
Do not make any type of relationship with any unknown co-passenger in the flight.
Do not forget to take along with you your hand bag, pouch, mobile, etc. while using
toilet at the airport or in the flight (do not leave hang bag).
Do not carry gold jewellery or any other expensive ornaments along with you.
Carry black ball pen to fill the immigration, customs and entry forms at the airport.
Wear shoes during traveling till you reach the University.
Full hand shirt with light sweater or any other warm clothes are advised while traveling
due to low temperature in the flight and at the airports.

Maintain discipline at the airport and in the flight.

Do not consume any liquor if offered in the flight. If any nuisance caused in the flight
result expulsion from Odessa immediately you land there.
