Carry out ULTRASONIC TESTING on both BUTT welds and TKY

joints
on deck platforms and jackets with approval of ARAMCO .
Worked as scanner tech in PAUT for INCONEL project in

HASBA AND ARABIYA decks.

Worked as scanner tech in PAUT for C.S pile legs in

jackets.
Aware of all scanner parts and its maintenance.
Performing calibration for PAUT using FOCUS- LT with

TOMOVIEW before and after the job(calin & calout) .

Lamination and transverse scanning is done prior to weld

scanning.
Carry out corrosion monitoring in boilers , pressure vessels,

corex gas pipes.

Carry out ultrasonic weld scanning for different bevels like J&

V.
All kinds of refinery related Non-Destructive testing such as UT

testing, DP testing, MP testing etc. During the time of work

with the company successfully attended shut down

inspection.
UT Scanning of weld with angle probe for flaw detection such

as pipe weld & equipment weld (weld of vessels & heat

exchangers)
UT Scanning with normal probe of different types of metal

jobs such as pipe, Shaft, Plates, Castings, Hi carbon alloys,

Equipments (vessels, heat exchangers, storage tank etc.) and

Diesel Generator Components ( Piston Pin, Connecting Rods,

Rocker Arm, and Gudgeon Pin) for finding out the corrosion &

flaws.

Thickness survey by thickness gauge meter of pipe, Rig

Assemblies & equipment.

 Preparation of inspection report, corresponding isometric

drawings & maintaining inspection records.

Responsibilities for handling at stipulated time.

Coordinating with customer representatives, third party

inspection and external agencies for inspection work.

Worked on jetty projects, doing inspection using ULTRASONIC

TESTING and MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING for spud piles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To carry out all kinds of Non-Destructive testing inspection of

welding, pressure vessels, weld visual, Dimensional inspection.

Carry out all types of require NDT methods such as ultrasonic

thickness survey,

Ultrasonic testing of welds, Magnetic particle inspection and dye

penetrant test for storage tanks, vessels, exchangers, heater coil.

Examining the test result and preparation of reports for the

submission to the project owners inspection teams.
