Aggregator Market Place: For agricultural produced products

India from the onset of independence has been an agrarian economy depending heavily
on agriculture. In 1951, 72.1 per cent of the working population was employed in agriculture
and allied activities but slowly as India moved into economic reforms and open its gates for
the world the agricultural working population has gone down which has been strategical
from the economic development context yet it also shows the growing concern among the
farmers to see this as a viable mode of leaving to earn their livelihood. So, even if the
economic goal aims to lessen dependence on agriculture yet a country which houses more
than 1.2 billion people needs to produce and equip smart labor and give a conducive market
for agricultural sector.

The bottom line is India as an economy cannot neglect this sector and we aim to make this
sector more lucrative.

The common traits and problem encountered in the sector:

1) Lack of capital
2) Liquid cash as observed during demonetization phase
3) A Market place

We target to solve the above problems through an online market place which will encompass

i) The facility of micro lending a concept popularised by the Nobel laureate Muhammad
Yunus in Bangladesh and hugely success one.
ii) We are trying to create a market place in line with the concept of ebay auction based and C2C.
iii) A market place where a consumer can buy and farmer can sell.
iv) Farmers sell its products to Mandi at the market cost. The famer has to incur
several costs like transportation cost to take the crops to mandi/market, loss due
to rotting of crops etc. We aim to take the market place to the farmers and collect
the vegetables and crops and induce consumers to buy from us.
v) Quality consumer would also have the quality product at their disposal. A
different pricing strategy as per the quality of the product. Eg Organic products
will be priced higher than the inorganically cultivated product.
vi) An end to end supply sell integration from collection of supplies, holding
them, selling them.
vii) The updates and assistance of any sort can be made avail by farmers.
viii) A forum to procure fertilizers, pesticides etc.
ix) A one place shop for every farmer need.

How it will create jobs?

1) Direct Jobs in agricultural sector: People will move to/retain in farming sector. The ease of selling, in
time will help them to move towards more tech based processes.

2) Direct jobs in e-commerce segment: Skilled, semi-skilled labour would be required to create such a
market place which would require technical know-how, educating the farmers and force to create a
distribution channel.
3) Indirect Jobs -- The agriculture drives the industrial sector. The rise in agricultural sector will call for
growth in allied industries, increased purchasing and consumption will also induce industries across
sectors for higher production better management and more jobs
