The project will use hydro powered turbine engine from Toshiba, Japan.

.D Brief description of the proposed project activity

The project involves the construction and operating a 2x45 MW hydropower plant for first phase and 3x75
MW for the second phase at Sadang river. Power will be evacuated with a transmission line of about 12 KM
to Makale city. The electricity will be sold to Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) under PPA. The project will
reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emission by avoiding CO2 emissions from fossil fuel power plants.
