& outsourced call centers and Data Center operation.

Plan, assign, manage and monitors projects & develop corrective and contingency
plans if necessary. Manage Data Center operation for Infrastructure uptime,

Description: Wipro Infotech is in to 24x7 operations for managing Wipro


Technologies global network (GNOC) and WT ODC clients network.
Manage day to day network operation of Wipro Technologies global network that
covers Incident, Problem, Release and Change Management. Ensure that calls are
closed with the defined threshold time and as per SLA. Manage clients visit to data
center. Implementation of new projects as per project plan. Participate in network
planning. Timely submission of MIS reports. Handle escalations. Manage the service
providers to deliver as per SLA. Ensure that the network & services are running
round-the-clock.

Project Routing & Bridging Network

Description: Project involved in setting up of different routers like 2501,2509,


MC3810,4000 and 3620 for testing various routed protocols Viz. IP, IPX under
different routing protocols like RIP, IGRP, EIGRP and OSPF. Routers were
connected back-to-back to simulate a virtual WAN cloud. LAN switching was
performed using Catalyst 5505 and 1900 switches.

Accomplishments

Scenarios on RIP, IGRP and EIGRP involving VLSM, redistribution and filtering.

OSPF - Network simulations on different areas like stub, totally stubby and
NSSA. Checking of Routing tables and Link State databases. Understanding of
DR/BDR election, neighbor relationship, adjacency build-up, ABRs, ASBRs and
virtual links.

BGP - Scenarios done on EBGP and IBGP peering, redistribution using RIP and
OSPF as IGPs, BGP attributes, default routing, route tagging, confederations,
route reflectors, policy routing and route dampening, route maps. Understandings
of various show and debug commands.

DDR - Dial-on-demand routing done on OSPF as demand circuit, DDR used as


abackup interface for serial lines, Snapshot Routing using RIP, DDR with PPP
using PAP and CHAP authentication, PPP callback.

LAN Switching - Implementation of Virtual LANs. These included Native VLans,


Trouncing of VLANs using ISL and 802.10 (with FDDI), InterVLAN routing using
Catalyst 505 switches and 4000 router, Fast Ether Channel, VTP, VTP Pruning.
Understanding of various CAT5505 commands.

Network Management - Implemented CiscoWorks 3.1 on SNMP. Built sample


networks using different routers and switches. Installed MIBs for these devices
and monitored their interface statistics and trap messages from the CiscoWorks
platform. Usage of Sniffer Pro for monitoring SNMP packets. RMON configuration
done on 2500 routers and the usage of different MIB objects observed

Security- Installed and configured Checkpoint on WindowsNT.ATM-


Implemeneted LANE using LightStream-1010 and catalyst 5500 switches.
Implemented scenarios of ELAN communication with LEC,LECS and LES with
