1. Tell us something about yourself.

Currently I am a student of 54th batch of IIM CALCUTTA. I have completed my B.tech from NIT
KURUKSHETRA with majors in Electrical branch. I have done my schooling from DAV PUBLIC
SCHOOL , GURUGRAM . I have been the convener of confluence 2017. i have had experiences in
dealing with people under different circumstances.

2. Why do you want to work in this sector (write different answers for each preferred sector)?

MARKETING: I have always been enthusiastic about marketing. The pace at which our society is
changing provides a huge scope for marketing. For firms to relevant in todays world the need marketing
managers who can gauge the changing needs of people.

3. What are your short term goals (3-5 years)?

Marketing : In a time span of 3-5 years I want to acquire the right skills that are required for
performing well in the sector of marketing. I want to stay relevant in the sector of marketing
given the fact how dynamic is this sector. I want to be an asset for the firm I would be working
for. I want to create value for the firm in terms of brand, image and product experience to the
customers.

4. What are your long term goals (10-15 years)?

Marketing: In a long term I want work as a marketing head and spearhead marketing
innovations that are profitable to the company in terms of brand value. I want to introduce
changes that will help the organization to stay relevant in the changing times.

5. Mention 3 strengths, each substantiated with an example.

Compatible with team : During my school and college time I have been worked with different
teams and under different scenarios. This makes me compatible to work with a team of any
background.

OPTIMISTIC : There have been instance in my life when the the odds have been against me but I
have fought for myself inspite of all the hurdles on my way.

Honesty : I believe that honesty is something that is not commonly found in people. I believe
that its the biggest strength for an employee through which he /she can contribute to the
growth of the organization.
6. Mention 3 weaknesses. How are you working on/ planning to work on them?
Procatination : I tend to procastinate about my work . This created workload pressure for me in
a lomg term .
Short temper : I have a very bad habit of getting angry whenever I see going things going out of
my hand.
Lack of concern for my health : sometimes I tend to overlook the importance of health due to
which my productivity falls over time.

7. What were your 2 biggest learnings/takeaways from your previous job(s)? (If you have not
worked before, write about your internship.)

1.Managerial skills require understanding of human behaviour

2.more than the result the path taken to achieve the result is important.

8. What are you passionate about (talk about at least 2 hobbies)?

I have been passionate about sports. I have played sports all through my school and college.

I have been passionate about social service. I have been a part of various NGOs that provide
support to underprevilaged students. This is something through which I feel connected to the
society.

9. What has been your greatest achievement to date? How did you overcome the obstacles that
you came across?
My greatest achievement to date is working on the model of an electrical bicycle that is suitable
according to the indian terrain.
I faced a lot of problems during its design and realization but the urge to fulfill the need of a
common man drove me through.

10 Write your Statement of Purpose

I have been brought up in Gurgaon . I have done my done my graduation from NiT kurukshetra .
I have been brought up in an environment that requires interacting with people and knowing
their needs . I have developed an habbit od changing myself with the changing environment.
This makes me fit to work for in a marketing environment.
