Subject: Application for the position of Consultant at The Parthenon Group

Dear,

I am writing this letter to express my interest for the position of Consultant at the Mumbai office of The
Parthenon Group. I believe my strong analytical abilities, endeavor to strive for extraordinary and good
interpersonal skills will enable me to be successful in the firm. I would like to summarize myself in a line
before I dwell into details -I am no Sachin Tendulkar, but I do things the Rahul Dravid way.

I have had an exceptional record throughout my academic career bagging 4 Gold Medals for All India Merit
across all three levels of Chartered Accountancy examinations. I have also stood in top 4% at both Indian
School of Business (batch of ~760) and Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi (batch of ~350).
My conviction to strive for perfection, strong problem solving and analytical skills are reflected in my
academic credentials.

I will bring with my candidature, vast knowledge and unique experience of working in an outside in role of
consulting as well as inside out role of financial and strategic planning across various businesses. More
recently, I was working with the Transaction Advisory Services practice at KPMG Mumbai involved in
financial due diligence for inbound/ domestic Private Equity transactions. The clients included some of the
biggest global Private Equity funds and Venture Capital firms. The role has helped me structure analysis,
develop insights and identify patterns from data in uncertain situation and ability to handle complexity.

As a sports enthusiast, I have been associated with sports at various levels in the capacity of a player/ organizer
across my academic and professional career. I was a core team member of HealthAhead, a global culture in GE
and was involved in planning and execution of sports initiatives/ events. I was awarded GE Bronze award
twice for involving 80% of GE employees in HealthAhead activities. Such association gives me a chance to do
something close to my heart, showcase leadership skills and build a culture of health. I am fascinated by how
many management and real life lessons can be learnt from sports.

I wish to leverage my experience, analytical ability and leadership skills in contributing towards the growth
story of The Parthenon Group in India. Financial consulting serving PE funds to helping clients develop
winning strategies (with EYs TAS capabilities) would be natural progression and would give me an
opportunity to make real impact and envision growth for the clients. The finer intricacies of working across
various domains in the education sector would help shape my long-term objective of emerging as an industry
expert playing the role of an effective advisor.

I look forward to discussing in person, my candidature and potential contributions to the firm. I am attaching
my resume with this letter for your kind consideration.

Yours sincerely,
--
