In this months edition of The Health Buzz, we will be taking a look at how we can improve our technical commu-
nication team. Do you want to improve your communication skills? Classes will be offered to our employees free
of charge. Important areas of communication to be covered in these classes are: Electronic Medical Records,
Equality improvement, medical staff charting, and evaluations.

Evaluation
Are you a boss or a supervisor? You may learn how
to effectively communicate by improving the way
you evaluate your employees. Raises may be a big
deal, but they dont have to be, if you are thorough
in explaining your reasons for the raises they re-
ceive this year. You may be able to give good or bad
news to your employees, but get good reactions by
communicating effectively. Continue to show your
employees that they matter .
Improving Equality
Improve equality by reducing medication errors. By
reducing medication errors, less patients are
getting hurt and equality will improve. There are
standards that need to be followed that will im-
prove writing skills, to lessen errors. Thus, if notes
and charts are written thoroughly, less errors will
occur and communication will grow steadily.

Rules, Regulations, and Reporting

Rules and regulations are mandated from Federal

the rules and regulations to their standards, but
