THE ART OF TEACHING

A less hectic atmosphere prevailed in a nearby classroom. Eighteen people, driven by


the urge to get better qualifications, were listening intently to a lecture on sociology. The
lecturer, a well-qualified young man who went down very well with the class and kept them
at it, had the knack of putting over the dullest information in an interesting way. Thanks to
him the class had come a long way since the beginning of term, and morale was high.
