SUBJECT: Diagnostic trouble codes F09 and F30 are not listed in the current service manual.

CAUSE: Diagnostic trouble code F09 and F30 is a communication code between VCM3, VCM3-OP.
The codes are triggered when the load default data button in the set-up option menu is
activated. When the load default data button is activated, this clears the production settings,
and options. The system also loose communication between the VCM3 and VCM3-op. If the
default button is active the lift truck will loose all hydraulic functions until the original files are
reloaded into the VCMs.

RESOLUTION
To correct DTC F09 and F30 you will have to contact service engineering via the Heat system to
request the production VCM files for your serial number. Once the files are loaded into the VCMs the
DTC will clear automatically.

The default data button is in the process of being removed from the (Diagnozer) laptop diagnostic
software.
