PLEASE NOTE
Following the Induction Schedule is mandatory and the employee will not be allowed inside
the induction room if they fail to reach office on time.
If for genuine reasons, the employee cannot reach office on time, then the same needs to be
informed to the induction team.

The following documents are required to be brought to the Induction room, and no exceptions are
entertained

PAN Card or Acknowledgement (2 Photocopies)


All Original Educational Documents (Including Class X, XII/PUC, Graduation) marks/degree
certificate along with 2 Photocopies of each.
Original PoA (Proof of Address), Permanent/Present Address Proofs with 2 Photocopies each.
This is usually Govt Issued ID.
Create UAN Please refer the attached sheet for Creation of UAN for PF account.
LOI (Letter of Intent) shared by Hiring Team.

Important Dos and Donts =

Dos

Ensure that you get an Access card the day you finish the induction and get your offer letter.
Swipe your Access card at the attendance reader in the basement daily to ensure your
attendance is captured this is required for your salary calculation.
Swipe at the IN Reader when you reach office and OUT when you leave office.
If your access card is not working or if you have lost it, please reach out to your
Manager/Trainer immediately. Losing ID/Access card will attract fines.
Check Attendance Daily in the system Please seek help from your trainer/HR for this.
Report to office on time as per your Roster/Shift.
Ensure that your Bank account is active within 7 working days, as salary is paid only to the
IndusInd account that is created on Induction Day.
Ensure that you have created a UAN (Universal Account Number) This is required for your PF
(Provident Fund Account) as per PF Guidelines.
Ensure that you get your ESI (Employees State Insurance) Temporary Card and Create a
Permanent Card (Pehchan Card) during the camp. This happens every month.
Salary is paid on the last date of the present month, if you join before the 19th of the current
month, or on the last date of the next month, if you join after the 19th of the current month.
Please ensure that you are present in office daily (excluding week offs) and are swiping your
access card.
If you forget to bring your access card, then reach the security desk to take a 1 day ID Card and
ask security team to do Check in on your behalf, similarly at the end of shift return the Card
back and ask them to do Check out for you.

Donts

Dont forget to swipe your access card, as this will result in absent and loss of salary for the
day.
Dont share your ID/Access card or password with any other employee.
Dont come to office in inappropriate/incorrect dress code.
Dont come to office late/not as per your roster unless approved by your Manager.
Dont forget to ask for assistance for any issues from your trainer/Manager, if the issue is not
resolved then please speak with the HR.

UAN Creation Process for Provident Fund Account

What is UAN?

Universal Account Number or UAN account is a unique number allotted to each employee, under which
you have multiple EPF number IDs allotted by your employer will be tracked. Suppose if you join a new
company then you just need to submit a UAN number to your employer.

What is online activation or registration of EPF UAN?

This is a unique feature started from today. The features of this are explained below.

Any Indian citizen can now apply for EPF UAN online and activate it. You can apply for EPF UAN
even if not a member of EPF. This shows the eagerness of EPFO for spreading the concept of EPF
UAN.
You have to fill an online one-page form.
There is no need to submit any physical forms.
You have to complete few online KYC steps. No process is offline.
You will receive the UAN number to your registered number.

How to activate or register the EPF UAN online?

1) Visit EPFO Portal

2) Go to Our Services and select For Citizens.

3) Click on the Registration for Allotment of UAN.

4) This will bring you to the one-page online form. Submit your Aadhaar details and PAN details. If you
dont have Aadhaar or PAN card, then you can select I do not have AADHAAR or I do not have
PAN. Along with that, you can provide your Passport or Voter ID card details. Remember that
providing Passport and Voter ID card details are not mandatory.

5) Now you have to enter your personal details, qualification and industry type where you are
currently working.

6) Next step is to provide your Bank Account number and IFSC code of your Bank. Then upload the
photo and scanned signature. Note that your photograph must be taken from digital camera, size
must be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, image size should be between 15 KB to 20 KB, the image should have dark
red background and image should be in JPEG format.

Your scanned image signature should be less than 20 KB and it must be in JPEG format.

7) Now enter that Captcha code and click on the tab Get Authorization Pin.

They will send you the PIN to your registered mobile number. This you have to enter it here to
authenticate and complete the process.

Congratulations, you have successfully created an UAN This is going to help


you with all PF related Transactions in the future.
