IMPERSONATION CASE BY THE NAME MACMAC FLORES

BOARD RESOLUTION No. 2017-07-001

FACTS OF THE CASE:

MacMac Flores is a legitimate Bantoanon under category C of the BLL Qualifications.

He is the son of basketball veteran Toto Flores of Playboys Team.

During the final tagging of questioned players on June 25, 2017 MacMac Flores had not
been on the list. The BBL management acted in good faith did not also clarify the
physical built, face and characteristics of the player as he is guaranteed to be a
Bantoanon for being a son of a former basketball player.

On the part of Playboys Team, MacMac Flores had been introduced to the team by his
first cousin ANDERSON FLORES NOBLEZA, whom he guarantees the basketball
abilities, height advantage and capabilities of the latter, so the player had been voted by
the Payboys Management to be on the final line up. MacMac Flores did not surface
during their practice and meetings, and even on the Opening Ceremony.

On July 16, 2017 during the game between Playboys and YBM, the so called MacMac
Flores surfaced to the Playboys Bench in tow of ANDERSON NOBLEZA his first
cousin, the surprised team members and management accepted him without hesitation
and second thoughts.

The BBL Management also did not bother to look for the identification card of MacMac
Flores as we are confident that the latter is the son of Toto Flores as guaranteed by his
cousin and teammate ANDERSON NOBLEZA, and finally he was able to play until the
end of the game. He scored 11 points, performed 4 rebounds, 3 assists;

On July 17, 2017 the BBL Management got a tip from a resident Bantoanon in Sinag,
Mandaluyong City that the player towed to the game by ANDERSON NOBLEZA was
not the true MacMac Flores, so the BBL Management immediately acted to investigate
the matter and found out that the information was true and correct.

On July 18, 2017 The BBL Management initially conducted a meeting with the
management of YBM and Playboys on how to resolve the controversy which both are
the mainly involved.

DECISION

After evaluating the facts and circumstances, the Board found out that the Management
of Playboys Team and YBM Team did not know the actual identity of MacMac Flores,
nor the BBL Management. Both are victims of misrepresentation initiated by
ANDERSON NOBLEZA. The participating teams acknowledged that no more protests
or inquiry be conducted once the league had been declared open and this is an isolated
case of negligence of the BBL Management. There is a lapse on the part of BBL
management as they were failed to examine the identification card of the unfamiliar
faces or new players. Let it be a charged lesson to the Management of Banton Basketball
League Inc.

WHEREFORE, in the interest of fairness, the Board decided to set a REMATCH game
between PLAYBOYS and YBM as it will be the best option to determine the winner
physically and in nature, and to determine the actual performance of the teams without

the impersonator Flores. Let the PAYBOYS TEAM pay the amount of P2,000.00 to
answer transport expenses incurred by YBM TEAM plus the cost of the rematch game.
The Tournament Committee is hereby ordered to set a rematch game between YBM
TEAM and PLAYBOYS TEAM on the most convenient time of BBL Management.

Finally, ANDERSON NOBLEZA is able to play in the rematch game, however he is

suspended for the incoming 5 consecutive games or pay the amount of P2,000.00 in lieu
of the suspensions.

So ordered.
