Prepare students to new challenges in Mechanical, Bio-Mechanical and


Surface Engineering applied to industrial and academic R&D.

The master is based on a set of courses that aims to bring fundamental


and advanced knowledge. Core subjects offered cover topics which are
explored in depth in elective classes and through laboratory work.

a key step for PhD studies
PhD opportunities:
PhD in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Mechanics and Surface Science.
Each year some positions are available in the collaborative research institutions.
Internships opportunities:
Internships in research institutions or with their industrial partners. Each year, a set of training periods
is available.
Job opportunities:
R&D project manager in industrial sectors such as energy, automotive, aerospace, cosmetics, sports
and leisure, biotechnologies ... or researcher in academic institutions.
Requirements for applicants:
Prior successful completion of a first year of a Masters Degree in theoretical and/or applied science,
or equivalent diploma /or 240 ECTS validated.
