In this activity, students will learn about metric measurements. For the
purpose of this activity, they will learn grams and its relevance to other objects.
After completing this activity, students will be about to relate a certain amount
of weight to an object. Accessing how light or heavy an item is.
Prior to this activity, students should have knowledge of metric measurements
relative to ounces and pounds. This activity is meant to reinforce that
knowledge and gain a better understanding of the differences in weight.

Students will choose an object from the simulation. They will place the chosen
object on one side of the scale. They will then will use the differently weighted
weights, to determine the total grams of the chosen object. The objects differ
from the weight of a baseball to the weight of a watermelon. And the weights
differ from 10 grams to 5 kilograms.

Extra:: This activity also allows for students to test the weights in different
atmospheres. How gravity affects how weight is read.
Pedagogy

At the end of this activity, students will be able to relate how weighted a gram
is to an object. Simulating the weight.
