Prerequisite: Analog Electronic Circuits (ELE 209).

Course Outcome:

Understand the internal architecture and specifications of operational amplifiers.


Design the operational amplifier based analog computation, filtering kind of application circuits.
Develop 555 based timer circuits in astable and monostable modes.
Identify the feedback topologies and calculate their characteristic parameters.
Understand and appreciate the importance of analog systems as building blocks in the design of
mixed signal integrated circuits, RF circuits etc.

Evaluation Scheme:

Internal Assessment: 50 Marks

Two tests comprising of one word answers, multiple choice questions, short
answer questions and numericals - 20 Marks each
5 nos. of Assignments 2 Marks each
Evaluation of assignments based on quizzes, surprise tests

End Semester Examination: 50 Marks
