RE: Request letter for a copy of CCTV footage in Palawan Pawnshop

Lawaan, Marinduque

Sir:

This request stemmed from an incident on March 1, 2016 wherein a certain Dexter Uy
Cesi sent money to Pastora Brozas through Palawan Pawnshop Lawaan Branch worth
of Php 50,000.00 with Transaction Code No. BKM-9-79942-BI.

Accordingly, Dexter Cesista received text messages from a woman who identified himself
as Pastora Cui asking for a money worth Php1,500.00 whose daughter works with him
as a housemaid. Dexter Cesi was confident that it was indeed Pastora Cui so he sent the
money to Palawan Pawnshop Lawaan Branch.

At about 1:12 p.m. of the same day, the money was received by Pastora Cui at Palawan
Pawnshop Lawaan Branch. A couple of days passed, Dexter Cesi called Pastora Cui on
the money sent. He was only then informed by Pastora Cui that she never asked money
from him.

The matter was brought before this Office by Pastora Cui to help her on the said problem.
After the ensuing investigation, it was found that the woman who identified himself as
Pastora Cui to Dexter Cesi was not in fact and in truth the real Pastora Cui.

In view of the foregoing circumstances, we would like to seek assistance from your good
office to allow us to have a copy of your CCTV footage recorded on March 1, 2016. This
CCTV footage will be of great help for easy identification of the suspect and filing of case
once it is pursued.

Rest assured of our continued support on matters of mutual interest. Thank you.

Respectfully yours,

PSI RUDY MORENO
