Only 7% of students who complete high school in rural India pursue higher education, mainly because many do not have
the necessary information or guidance to envision and realize a different future for themselves. Lack of information and
career opportunities are major obstacles before students, preventing them from grabbing the right opportunity, at any
given point. This is further worsened by complicated documentation processes and tedious system formalities,
hampering the individuals inclination to complete education. Friends Union for Energising Lives (FUEL) is a non-pro t
organisation focused on assisting students with education and career opportunities. We unleash the potential in Indias
youth by offering career guidance and assistance with employment through a career counselling system that not only
bridges the information gap, but also creates platforms for graduates to acquire the professional skills necessary for a
successful career.
