15 June Applications Open

18 August Westpac Research Fellow Applicants complete final application in
Westpac online Application System for College Research Office to review.
21 August College Research Office Compliance Checking and Certification due
Review eligibility of applications against Westpac Guidelines
Complete Letter of Support
Upload Application including completed Letter of Support to
Costing & Pricing Tool for approval by relevant delegate
Seek delegate approval for Applications via Costing & Pricing
Approval Tool (Use Certification and Attachment tabs only).
24 August College Research Office submit completed Application (as single PDF
document) and completed Letter of Support (PDF version) via email to
Research Services Division (RSD) (preaward.rsd@anu.edu.au).
25 August Letter of Support reviewed and signed by Dean, Higher Degree Research
Professor Imelda Whelean.
28 August RSD will email signed Letters of Support to relevant Colleges.
31 August Applicant submits application to Westpac via their online application site.
Westpac Research Fellowship applications close midnight AEST.
1-20 September Westpac Bicentennial Foundation Shortlisting.
21-26 September Shortlisted applicants invited to complete online emotional intelligence
assessment.
27 September-19 October University Shortlisting
23 October Shortlisted applicants invited to attend the Assessment Centre and
complete the online Hogan Inventory assessment. Unsuccessful
applicants notified of outcome.
National Assessment Centres, Sydney. All shortlisted applicants will be
required to attend an interview in Sydney. The Westpac Bicentennial
12 13 December Foundation will nominate which date candidates will attend and advise of
date allocated when finalists are selected. Travel and accommodation
costs will be covered by the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation.
20 December Notification of Fellowship recipients.
11 12 April 2018 Westpac Scholars Summit in Sydney.
30 June 2018 Latest commencement date for Fellowship.
