What does look like?

PULMONARY REACTIONS
Coughing (uncontrollable and/or constant),
CARDIOVASCULAR REACTIONS
wheezing, difficulty breathing,
turning blue, no breathing Feeling faint, dizziness,
loss of consciousness,
change in heart rate,
drop or rise in blood pressure

DIGESTIVE REACTIONS
Vomiting, stomach pain
abdominal pain, diarrhea

SWELLING
Tongue, lips, eyes, throat, GI tract,
bronchial tubes, hands, feet, limbs
SKIN REACTIONS*
Some swelling is visible; some is not
Hives,* redness*, itching, flushing, blue, pale
* minor skin symptoms along with other symptoms (e.g. vomiting) is anaphylaxis

Can occur in seconds to hours later

Ingestion, skin contact, eye contact or inhalation

ADMINISTER EMERGENCY EPINEPHRINE

CALL 9-1-1 and say emergency anaphylaxis
