The Eaton manifold drain Design Features

valve is a sprung loaded open
poppet type check valve 3 bolt flange arrangement
which automatically permits to connect to the manifold
draining of the refuelling
gallery. The manifold drain Lightweight design
valve is installed in the
refuel manifold tubing. The
valve shuts during refuelling
operations and contains a
sprung loaded flap valve to
prevent reverse flow into
the gallery. The valve opens
when the manifold pressure
is low (below 3psi (20.68kPa))
to drain trapped fuel into the
tank and minimize unusable
fuel.
