The fiber anchor concept was invented (US Patent #7,574,840 B1) and developed by Fyfe Co. LLC to improve the
performance of various Tyfo Fibrwrap System designs. The low profile, non-corrosive fiber anchors are manufactured
with the use of the Fibrbundle, a multiple fiber tow compiling machine, at the Fyfe Co. LLC facility. The Tyfo Composite
Anchors are manufactured from a custom, uni-directional Tyfo SEH glass fiber or SCH carbon fiber reinforced roving
for improved end details and force transfer in various Fibrwrap designs. The anchors can be embedded and/or
developed with thickened Tyfo S epoxy, Tyfo TC epoxy, Tyfo TC-1 epoxy or Tyfo MB-3 adhesive.

Flexural Enhancement

Tyfo SCH Composite Anchors are embedded into the

footing and splayed onto the vertically oriented Tyfo SCH-
41 System to supplement the existing vertical reinforcing
bars. The new longitudinal reinforcing is then confined with
additional layers of the Tyfo SCH-41 System.
