The California State University, Northridge Department of Police Services is
providing this notice of a campus crime trend in order to provide information that
____________________ may help in avoiding similar crimes or provide information that may assist in
solving these crimes, leading to an arrest and/or recovery of the stolen property.

24-hour Emergency DATE TIME: On Wednesday, July 26, 2017 and between Saturday, July 29, 2017
9-1-1 and Sunday, July 30, 2017 at various times between the hours of 07:00 a.m. and
12:00 a.m.
From a cell phone
9-1-1 LOCATIONS: Bookstore Complex, Matador Walk, & Intercollegiate Athletics Office.

Emergency BLUE REPORTED OFFENSE: Three (3) electric vehicle thefts were reported during the

Eleven (11) electric vehicle thefts and two (2) attempted vehicle thefts have been
reported since June 2017. Twelve (12) of the thirteen (13) carts have been
recovered.

Report suspicious Suspect Information: Suspect 1 & 2: males, white, wearing a white t-shirt and black
persons or shorts. Suspect 3: male, white, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and riding a bicycle.

1. Replace ignition switch locking mechanism.


2. The Club Steering Wheel Pedal Lock.
3. Lock Protect Cart Pedal Lock.
4. The Utility Lock.
