(b) A sum of money is divided among two friends in the ratio 4:11. If the smaller
amount is $420, determine the larger amount. [3 marks]

(c) A sum of money was to be shared among three friends. Albert, Bruce and Christine
in the ratio 3:7:10. If Christine received $495 more than Bruce, Determine the sum of
money shared. [4 marks]

(d) A sum of money is to be divided among Yuri, Anna and Maria in the ratio 4:7:9. If
Annas share amounts to $1295. Calculate:

(i) The total sum of money to be shared [4 marks]

(ii) Yuris share [4 marks]
(iii) The percentage of the total amount that Maria receives. [4 marks]
