Rubric for North/South Differences Leading to War

SC State Standards: 4-6.1

Fourth grade students will compare the differences between the northern and
southern states prior to the Civil War by identifying examples from given maps,
websites, and textbook to complete the graphic organizer provided. They will then
analyze the information and write a paragraph to explain how these differences
may have been a catalyst of the Civil War.
