Advertisements under the ‘Deemed Consent’ category Inthis dass of edvertsements, the Authotty’s consent is not needed, provided the advertisements within the ciasses of advertisement benefting from deemed consent stated below, In case of advertisements permitiad under this category it shall be the responsiby of the advertiser to remove the advertisement at the end ofthe approved term (i appicable) baring which the Authority has a right to levy a penalty as decided by the Authonty, 224° Class1 Functional advertisements’ by public bodies: Advertisments in Class‘ are those which are neaded by public hodies (euch as ‘govemment departments and local authors, the public utes and public ransport operators) to give information or directions about the services they provide. These would include: > Noice-board at any Government operated facility ike the stadium > Bus timetable > Warning notice at an electricity sub-station > Display of bye-aws ‘Advertisements must not exceed 1.55 square metes in area and a reasonable degree ofiluminaton is alowed to enable the information or drectons to be read in hours of darkness, 222 Class2 Consent fora wide vatity of sal notices and signs to be displayed on the premises or buildings to which the notice o sign relates. "Business premises’ means any buiding in which @ professional, commercial or idustial undertaking s being carried on, or any commercial services are being provided for the public. Because Class § permits advertisements on the forecourt of business premises, any such notices, signs or adertsements musi be at ‘yound-evel And the total pemitied area for all forecourt advertisements must not exceed 6 square metres on each forecourt ‘frontage tothe premises. So. building with two forecour frontages may have adverisements not exceeding 9 square metres inal, provided that those on each frontage do not exceed 4 6 square metres. Forecourt advertisements mus nt be iluminated in any Circumstances. These advertisements may be iuminated in a manner reascnably required to full the purpose ofthe advertisement 227 Class7 Directional advertisements: Telling potential house buyers and other vistors how to reach a site where new residential development is taking place.
