1. Read aloud activity: Reading text A Hot Day, A Stormy Night
2. Teacher introduce actions based on the text
3. Teacher introduce the sounds -ay and -ou with a few examples
4. Pupils say the corresponding sound one after the other while the teacher
points.
5. Pupils fill in the cloze passage based on the reading text without referring to
it
Closure: Pupils read aloud the reading text with the actions learnt.
