My  Name  is  Jason  Nester.    I  am  a  creative  guy  with  an  intense  passion  for  design.  
My  ultimate  objectives  both  professionally  and  personally,  are  to  do  what  I  love  
and  constantly  learn  and  further  develop  my  skills.  When  I  was  younger  I  lived  for  
drawing  and  painting,  but  my  interests  spread  out  a  bit  and  I  became  extremely  
interested  in  computers  as  well.  I  have  been  fiddling  with  websites  and  graphics  
programs  since  I  was  12  years  old  and  decided  to  make  that  my  life,  and  couldn’t  
be  happier.

Graduated  with  an  AP  Arts  focus,  completing  a  fifty  piece  portfolio  within  the  10  
month  period.

During  my  two  year  tenure,  I  learned  many  valuable  design  skills,  as  well  as  
gaining  experience  in  a  various  amount  of  computer  design  applications.    
Also,  I  continued  study  of  many  of  the  hand  applied  art  medium  as  well.

2002  Portage  County  Arts  Show    
I  received  both  first  and  second  place  in  the  Watercolor  category  for    
portraiture.      
   
2003  Scholastic  Arts  Show    
I  received  a  gold  key  for  a  portrait  rendition  in  watercolor.    
I  also  received  the  shows  highest  honor,  a  gold  key  for  my  12  piece  portfolio,  
which  then  went  on  to  national  competition.    
   
2002  Business  Professionals  of  America    
I  placed  second  in  my  region  for  logo  design  at  the  Business  Professionals  of    
America.  
 
 
Qualifications    
 
I  have  a  wide  spectrum  of  skill  sets  in  the  field  of  design.  I  can  work  in  most  all  
design/multimedia  programs,  and  can  code  html,  and  css  well.  I  also  paint  and  
draw  so  I  have  knowledge  of  composition  and  balance.  More  important  though,  is  
my  hunger  for  design  and  the  passion  to  learn  as  much  as  I  can  about  new  
technologies  and  applications  within  my  field.  These  are  the  skills  that  I  have,  
which  I  feel  truly  set  me  apart.

Multimedia  Developer  
My  role  here  is  to  implement  various  forms  of  multimedia,  (web/app/print)  into  
easy  to  use  interfaces  to  aid  with  curriculum  studies  or  grant  programs.  Much  of  
the  development  is  web  based  using  css,  ajax,  php,  coldfusion  and  html.  All  of  this,  
while  working  within  the  educational  environment.

Interactive  Designer  
My  role  here  was  to  create  design  mockups  for  clients,  as  well  as  html/css  
breakouts,  flash  development.  I  became  known  as  the  Joomla  expert  and  also  
worked  heavily  with  word  press.  Unfortunately  the  company  was  forced  to  make  
major  cuts  to  the  design  department  due  to  the  economy.  But  I  have  learned  a  lot  
from  the  agency  environment.

Lead  Designer  
Centric  Technologies  is  the  umbrella  company  to  several  other  companies  such  as  
A2Z  Computers,  ExactFix  Computer  Solutions,  and  PCHardware4U.com.  My  job  
here  required  me  to  develop  all  of  the  company’s  sites,  create  all  marketing  
content  and  collateral,  and  all  areas  where  design  need  apply.  It  was  a  lot  of  chaos  
but  a  great  experience.

One  Business  Builders  Resources  is  a  full  service  marketing  company  that  I  helped
