Abstract: Multivariate analysis of variance is one of the basic methods of mathematical statistics but in
practice, it is often confused with univariate analysis of variance with multiple-factor. Analyzes
the basic principles of the two methods, and then demonstrates the applied progress of
multivariate analysis of variance by using the GLM procedure and the MANOVA procedure of
SPSS software to solve an example, and gives the detailed interpretation about the output.
Analyzes the considerations using the multivariate analysis of variance method.
