Applications are invited for admission to Undergraduate Programme from the national and international candidates in the following subjects

by 29.08.2014 positively:

Faculty Of Biological Science

1. Pharm-D FSc (Pre-Med) or equivalent with at least NTS NAT-I


60% marks. (any

Faculty Of Social Science

1. LL.B FA/FSc or equivalent with at least second No Test


division (45% marks).
2. BS Economics FA/FSc or equivalent with at least second NTS NAT-

Faculty Of Natural Science

1. BS Computer Intermediate with Mathematics with at least No Test

3. BS Electronics FSc (Pre-Eng) or equivalent with at least No Test

4. BS Geo Physics 12-years of education with Mathematics with No Test

5. BS Mathematics FSc (Pre-Eng) or equivalent with at least No Test
second division (45% marks).
6. BS Physics FSc (Pre-Eng) or equivalent with at least No Test

7. BS Statistics Intermediate or equivalent in Computer No Test
Science/General Science/Pre-Engineering/

1. NTS NAT-I shall be conducted on 20.07.2014 as per its regular schedule. Last date for registration with NTS is 4th July
2014 and test results will be declared on 26th July 2014;
2. Applicants having valid NAT-I result card (valid till 22.08.2014) are not required to re-register/ re-appear in the test;
3. The applicants who pass NTS NAT-I with at least 40% marks shall only be considered for admission;
4. Admissions shall be determined purely on merit basis without giving any credit to the NTS test score.

1. Admissions shall be made both on Self-Finance and on Regular basis as per regional/provincial quota;
2. Merit will be calculated at 30:70 ratio i.e. 30% weightage to the Matriculation marks and 70% weightage to the Intermediate
marks;
3. The admitted students will have to submit their original migration certificate from the institution last attended within fifteen
days from the date of admission;
4. Limited hostel accommodation will be provided on availability;
5. QAU offers the following financial assistance/scholarships to the needy and the deserving/meritorious students admitted on
regular basis only: i) HEC Need Based Scholarships ii) USAID Need Based Scholarships for Undergraduate Programmes
in Social Sciences. Detailed information is available on QAU website.
6. In case of incorrect/misleading information or concealment of facts, the University reserves the right to refuse/cancel the
admission and expel the applicant (student) from the University;
7. To avoid any inconvenience the candidates are required to submit all the required documents (in triplicate) with the
Admission Form within stipulated time period;
8. The last date to submit left-over documents such as Intermediate Result Cards, domicile etc. alongwith required fee of
Rs.1000/- is 29.08.2014;(Download Undertaking)
9. The applicants can submit copies of leftover documents by hand in the QAU Admissions Information Centre (at the back
of Askari Bank) OR by email clearly mentioning their allotted registration number to: admissions@qau.edu.pk;
10. The University will display the information/data given by the applicants on its website: on03.09.2014, so that each applicant
can check it for any errors or omissions;
11. No call letter/phone call shall be made separately for selection; applicants are advised to visit QAU website frequently;

12. Please contact QAU Admission information Centre on Ph: 051-90642036, to rectify the errors/mistakes in the data, if any
by 05.09.2014 at the latest.
