I. STORY OF THE SEARCH

1.1 Opinion
In globalisation era, where information technology and the Internet is growing, has
a very good influence for people one of which is the ease in communicating with
other people, but if this is not controlled properly it will have a negative impact for
users, which can be raised violence one only in the form of insults, threats or
defamation through social media such as cyber bullying. Violence of this kind can
be experienced by anyone even to someone who became a major figure for the
nation of Indonesia as the 6th president of Indonesia Mr. Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono.

At the end of 2016 until today, he has a lot of experience from many netizens cyber
bullying, include his post on social media twitter about events that have happened
recently like the first post "I only ask for justice, about the safety of my soul. Fully I
leave to God the almighty one", the second post "I asked the father of the
president and the father of Police chief, if I do not have the right to live in their own
country with the rights I have?", the third post " brothers and sisters who love laws
and justice. Currently my home in brass in grudug hundreds of people they are air
shouting" etc. His actions like these are considered unfavorable by some netizens,
but some positive response to his ways.

Of the many things that have been done by Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during
his tenure as president or not, must have got much response from Indonesian
society, both positive and negative responses but not so fanatical as was the case
lately. From the end of 2016 until now, he has a lot of experienced cyber bullying
from many netizens this is caused by several things: the development of
information media is significant, nudge on twitter inferior, laments the life that
happened that did not reflect a former president, a number of problems project

his ambition to nominate his son became governor of jakarta and political interests.

Cyberbullying is "an aggressive, intentional act or behavior that is carried out by a group
or an individual, using electronic forms of contact, repeatedly and over time against a
victim who cannot easily defend him or herself.There are many variations, such as
the National Crime Prevention Council's more specific definition: "the process of using
the Internet, cell phones or other devices to send or post text or images intended to
hurt or embarrass another person. Components such as the repetition of the behavior
and the power imbalance between the bully and victim, and their applicability to
electronic harassment, are debated.
Cyber bullying to people can have many bad effect . For example, victims have lower
self-esteem, increased suicidal ideation, and a variety of emotional responses,
retaliating, being scared, frustrated, angry, and depressed. People have reported that
Cyberbullying can be more harmful than traditional bullying because there is no
escaping it.One of the most damaging effects is that a victim begins to avoid friends and

2.1 The reason Mr Bambang Yudhoyono get many bullying from netizen.

a. Development of information media is very significant

The rapid development of technology today makes many new applications of social
apps that have sprung up in cyberspace. Now relying on smartphones connected to
the Internet, we have access to some social media sites such as facebook, twitter,
line, we chat, cocoa talk and that's all we can access anywhere and anytime as long
as it is connected with an internet connection and it makes the flow large and rapidly
growing information. The rapid development of social media is not only in developed
countries but also in developing countries like Indonesia. This rapid growth can be a
substitute for conventional mass media's role in disseminating news or information.

With the development of social media is so fast it can be compared at a time when
SBY still serving as president and now that has not served as president, which at the

Recently, there is news that Ani yudhoyono would stand as president in 2019 and
Agus were separated as the military to run for governor of Jakarta and ultimately
failed, but predicted as candidates for mayor of Surabaya. this makes netizens
increasingly crowded bullying SBY because we are not satisfied with the power and
put all his family to the political sphere.

g. The pros and cons against him

Every person who has the job title will get advice and criticism from fans and his
heater, it can not be separated as a president yet. But we have to react properly.

2.2 What is the primary cause of cyber bullying to Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono ?

When viewed from a variety of causes that are above, it can be said that the main cause
of their cyber bullying against Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is the Jakarta

a. Demanding justice
At the beginning of 2017 the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the 6th Susilo

3.1 Conclusion
Cyber bullying on Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono caused by his own actions
that consider true by posting on social media but instead to invite a lot of
problems.
The main causes of cyber bullying against Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is
the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
With the increasing number of cyber bullying against himself, so SBY held a
clarification on the forums and in social media.

3.2 Reflections
Cyber bullying on Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is caused by several things
including, poor handwriting quality in twitter, laments the life that happened
that did not reflect a former president, his term problem on many projects
which were not completed. ambitions in nominating his son became governor
of Jakarta and political interests.
The main causes of cyber bullying against Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono
political elements between Democrats and PDIP heated.
With the increasing number of cyber bullying against her then father SBY still
be calm with refreshing.
