1. What does the song say about us?

- The song tells us that we are deeply flawed human beings. We sin, we have a lot of burdens to
carry, and our hearts are heavy with those burdens and sins. We are broken in the sense that our
sins affect our souls.

2. What does the song reveal about the character of Jesus?

- Jesus gave us compassion and salvation. He saved us through His grace and forgiveness. His
love for humanity made Him forgive our sins.

3. What did the song say about our response to what Jesus did?
- Because of what Jesus did, we became free. Our burdens fell away because of His love, grace,
and forgiveness. Because of what He did, we were granted freedom.

4. How does this relate to Christian Morality?

- As people we are very flawed. We might have done immoral things and we sin. We sin
repeatedly. Sometimes, we even live in ignorance of our sins even as we suffer the consequences
of our sins. The song tells us that Jesus will help us live a moral life according to Christian
standards, by which He is the prime example.
