ARTICLE ON POLLUTION

Anything added into the environment that results in producing harmful or

poisonous effect on living things is called pollution. Pollutionis the process
that makes natures resources such as land, water, air or other parts of the
environment unsafe or unsuitable to use. Pollution can be of many types:
soil, air, water, thermal, radioactive, noise, and light. The toxins released are
inhaled by each one of us while we breathe.

Pollution and its Causes

Inhaling poisonous air is as hazardous as smoking. It is not only the
humans who are affected from this polluted environment but also the
animals. Air is lled with highly toxic gases. These dangerous gases in
environment are released by the power industries that burn fossil fuels,
industries that dispose wastes in the water, farmers using pesticides, high
usage of articial lights and loud sounds, etc. Each of these leads to
generation of the life threatening cause pollution.

Any use of natural resources at a rate higher than the natures capacity to
restore itself can result in pollutionof air, water, and land. Other than human
activities, there are a few periodic natural cycles that also result in release
of dangerous stuff. Natural activities other than the human activities like
volcanic eruption, dust wildres, etc also result in creation of pollution.

Globalizationis another major cause of pollution.Globalization has

become an effective facilitator of environmental degradation.
Conclusion
Every individual owns certain responsibility of maintaining few points such
as not throwing garbage all around, growing trees, using public transport
instead of their own, etc. We must shun excessive consumption and avoid
careless and deliberate disposal of post-consumption waste
resourceswhich could otherwise be recycled and would led to pollution
control.

Pollution cannot be reduced or controlled if a sense of responsibility

towards our Mother Earth is not felt by all concerned.

Article on misuse of technology

Technology has made its way into classrooms around the globe, and it's
important that it's not misused. What is the misuse of technology? That can
depend on many factors.
Misusing computers as a way of keeping children busy during class as a
substitute for teaching, for example, is not okay. Teachers should be
heading classrooms, sticking to a syllabus and working through
educational materials with students. That's not to say that computers and
technology can't be used for certain lessons or for taking notes or
reviewing materials, but students shouldn't be using them to play or interact
on social media when they're meant to be studying in class.
Cyberbullying is a major concern in many schools and another serious
misuse of educational technology. One way teachers can help prevent this
is to keep children and teens off social media, chat rooms and forum
boards. Don't allow webcam or photo usage, and discourage computer use
without a supervisor. If someone is monitoring the students while they're on
the computers, it's much less likely that they'll be able to upload lewd
images or publish negative comments toward their peers.
These are a few of the possible misuses of computers, but consider the
impact those misuses could have on students or your own children. If
you're a parent concerned about cyberbullying or the misuse of computers
in the classroom leading to a toxic environment at school, it's something
you should be able to discuss openly with the school. If you nd your child
has beencyberbulliedor harassed, your attorney can help you reach out for
answers.
Article on Indiscipline among students
Indiscipline among studentsleads to a situation where the students doesnt
listen to the teachers and take their own decisions. They often take law in
theirown hand, organize strikes and upset the peaceful life.
It is an admitted fact that students of today are very much different from
those of a generation ago. Their strikes are the order of the day and often
lead to the worst type of hooliganism.
Unfortunately, it is a pity that the students of today waste their precious
time in acts of indiscipline. The worst aspect of the problem is that they are
very often misled by political leaders who use them as their tools for
creating disorder. Since students do not have mature minds, they cannot
understand the justness or unjustness of a cause and, hence, are likely to
fall a victim in the hands of bad people. As such, the students neglect their
studies and grow undisciplined.

It is generally for the cause of some rights and privileges that students
choose the path of indiscipline. The often stage strikes and
demonstrations.
Real cause of this problem is to be looked into. But students alone are not
to be blamed for this. A student of today is certainly a discontented and
dissatised youth.
The chief cause of students indiscipline lies isour present educational
system. It neither forms the character of our students nor enables them to
earn their living after completing the education. As such, education does
not foster the growth of qualities such as initiative, self-condence etc. in
young men.
Student today is an unfortunate creature. Few have a work of praise for
him. Parents are displeased with him because he does not take his studies
seriously and wastes his time, money and energy in undesirable activities.
Hence, problem of indiscipline and unrest among students is a part of a much bigger
problem viz. reconstruction of our countrys educational system. The system need to be
overhauled and made to suit the needs of the time and Indian conditions of life. We
need to take care of the need of the students. There is need foradequate provision for
industrial, technical and vocational education.
