Fire and Overheat Detectors 03.02.GE A

DESCRIPTION Operating ambient temperature

The Fire & Overheat Detector monitors for fire and
overheat conditions. It can be used in areas of very Set Point Max Ambient
high temperatures. Temperature Temperature
140F (60C) 100F (38C)
The detector is made from welded stainless steel
and is completely sealed. It is non-repairable and 325F (163C) 300F (149C)
cannot be disassembled. The detector is set to a 600F (316C) 500F (260C)
specified alarm temperature at the factory and cannot 725F (385C) 625F (329C)
be re-adjusted.
425F (218C)

Electrical connections are made through two terminal

posts with threads inside. Stainless steel screws are 17343-124
used to attach wires to the two terminals. Mounting
is with 3/4-14 NPT threads 20 Megohm @ 500 VDC,
Insulation Resistance terminals to shell
PART NUMBERS 500 VAC, 1 minute,
Dielectric Strength
and TEMPERATURE SETTINGS terminals to shell
