PRESS RELEASE

The Warrenton Police Department is seeking information in relation to vandalisms that

have occurred at the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility (WARF) at 800 Waterloo
Road, Warrenton, Virginia.

Between the night of Sunday, July 16, 2017 and early morning of Tuesday, July 18, 2017,
person(s) unknown spray-painted equipment at the skate-park and hockey rink with
various phrases, profanities, and obscene images. This type of vandalism is very damaging
to the equipment with the paint being difficult to remove, and may cause the eventual
removal of the affected skateboard ramps. Several references were made to Bird Gang.
